Hi, I’m Javier Vega. I live in Santa Coloma de Gramenet-Barcelona. How to define myself?... A passionate! That’s what i am when i work on 3D representation.

I’ve loved drawing since i was a kid. When I grew up I became interested by information technology. When these two worlds interacted, I knew what I was meant to do: creating through computer!.

By that time, the well-known 3D Studio R.4 for MS-DOS was the boom. I started playing with it, but then i was consistent and passionate when doing it.

So it became serious everything in life when passion moves you. I had a great job in a great company but it did not match with my passion. So I quit to embark on this adventure. I compare it to leaving your wife and your stable marriage that does not make you happy for having an affair with a girl who captivates you and gives sense to your life. I guess it’s the same thing. When I chose this profession I married her forever.

I combine creating as a freelance 3D modeler with teaching. I currently work at the 9zeros school “Master of Softimage XSI”.
